Unboxing and Setting Up Your Kosher Qin Phone

1. Unbox your phone. Check that you have the phone, charger, case, screen protector, and SIM tool. 2. Insert your SIM card. Use the SIM tool to open the tray and place the SIM chip side down. 3. Power on the phone. Hold the side button for two seconds until the logo appears. 4. Connect to Wi‑Fi. Go to Settings → Network → Wi‑Fi and choose your network. 5. Confirm filters are active. Devices ship pre‑filtered. You cannot install unapproved apps. 6. Test calling and texting. Make a call or send a text to confirm carrier activation.

Activating Cellular Service

1. Insert a compatible SIM card by using the SIM card Pin to open the tray on the side of the phone. The Kosher Qin Phone is unlocked for GSM carriers. Recommended: T‑Mobile or carriers using the T‑Mobile network. AT&T: Works in most areas but can be spotty. Verizon: Request CDMA‑less mode (also called a basic phone plan) to enable LTE-only. Test a call, text, and data. If it fails, contact us and will tell you what to tell your carrier.

Using Swipe Typing and Voice‑to‑Text

All phones include swipe typing and voice‑to‑text enabled by default. To enable it instead of using the physical keys, follow the steps below. 1. Open the Settings App and scroll down to System 2. Press Languages & Input and then press On-Screen Keyboard 3. Press Manage On Screen Keyboard 4. You should see Gboard and QinPad. If you want an on screen keyboard, turn QinPad off. If you want to use the physical keys, turn Gboard off.
